Allen Ginsberg's iconic poem America I was introduced to by a vintage recording of a reading of it from the late 50s by the poet that made a tremendous impact on me. Upon first hearing the poem made me emotional, evoking to me as it did the lost world of my childhood. This track takes its name from a line of the poem, a sample of which from that same reading constitutes its core.
