KOUMORI NO AKUMA-SAN (The Bat Demon) was never defeated. Before mysteriously disappearing, it swore it would return to finish its work centuries later. The Bat Demon to come is the boogeyman Yakuza elders warn their criminal enterprises about.</p><p>Having never been defeated by a man, they have trained generations of female Yakuza assassin witches in hopes of defending themselves against KOUMORI NO AKUMA-SAN when it returns with its terrible weapons. Traditionally, once they’ve completed their training, the deadly, seductive women have their bodies tattooed to remember and revere their ages-old, fearful adversary. Their tattoos are inked with herbal dyes brewed according to the old ways, bewitched with ancient magick as well, and they pray that their skin-struck sigils will protect them from the nightmare monster the next time it goes hunting in the criminal underworld of Japan.</p><p>◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥</p><p>This 1/1 artwork was specially created as an exemplar of My series <strong>‘A Fearful Legend’</strong> on zeroone. This work was neither minted on zeroone nor distributed via zeroone.</p><p><strong>“A Legendary Rückenfigur”</strong> is a 300DPI true Uktra4K 2160x3840 JPG image with increased colour gamut using the Display P3 colour space. It was minted as a single edition on February 2nd, 2024.</p><p>Created with the stable diffusion AI art system (SDXL 1.0). Curated from hundreds of outputs. Enhanced and enlarged with Magnific. Edited, cropped, restored, and composited by hand in Photoshop. Enlarged a final time with BigJPG.
